About Us

Deborah Ryan, Principal

We believe it takes a team – Students, Teachers, Parents, and Community Members- to collaborate for students' success. The team works together to agree on the nature of success throughout the school year by developing new ways of making the subject matter relevant to students.  This success is reflected in improving students' understanding of specific content through developing more effective learning strategies or in a greater desire among students to invest in their learning.

Our community believes in learning by doing.  Engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection helps them to connect better theories and knowledge learned in the classroom to real-world situations.  Instructional programs are also tailored to meet individual students' needs while incorporating technology to build essential skills that foster success.

This mission will be accomplished by fostering the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders who envision a learning environment that empowers children and their families.  The staff, parents, and students assume responsibility and are wholeheartedly committed to achieving academic excellence using standard-based instruction, technology, the arts, and community-based organizations.
