DRESS CODE

The mandatory uniform policy is intended to promote a more effective learning climate, foster school unity and pride, improve student performance, foster self-esteem, eliminate label competition, simplify dressing, and minimize costs to parents. Teaching children appropriate dress and decorum in their “work” place; will help to improve student conduct and discipline. It is not our wish to stifle any creativity or self-expression that a child may have, however, it is necessary to set forth a general set of guidelines which will help our children learn the fundamental principles of dressing for success.

The last Friday of each month is designated dress down Friday, September-May. In the month of June, dress down is every Friday; where students may wear appropriate school clothing in place of the school uniform. PSIS 295Q Themed T-Shirts may be worn on the last Friday of the month, gym, or a trip day.
